What the videos cover
Most videos follow a simple format: pick a Japanese word or sentence, break down exactly what it means, and show how it’s actually used in context.
For example — a video on 食べてみる (tabete miru) wouldn’t just give you “try eating.” It would show you:
- What 食べて is (the て-form of 食べる, taberu — to eat)
- What みる adds (literally “to try and see” — expressing having a go at something)
- Real example sentences: 寿司を食べてみました。 — “I tried eating sushi.”
- When a Japanese speaker would actually use it vs. a simpler alternative
That kind of layered breakdown — meaning, structure, real usage — is what every video aims for.
